Sing To-Gather
and its Musical Picnics
Every human being is somehow musical and creative!

Based on this premise, the proposal of the project Canto Com-Junto and its Picnics Musicais invests in the construction of artistic expressions obtained from the meetings, as an organic consequence of the processes and without a priori anticipation of their results.
After all, "music" is rather a means of interpersonal communication and human expression.
than an activity within the exclusive reach of individuals endowed with special qualities
or even an activity solely focused on
for the performance and consumption of musical pieces already completed!
With these ideas in mind, since the proposal was conceived, what we do is nothing more than
Music To– Gather!
Music is something...
to listen,
to play,
to create,
to sing,
to meet!
verbs-actions that happen
to energize us, move,
expand, unite, strengthen,
surprise!
Musicing along is also
listen... by listening!
play... discovering yourself!
create...creating yourself!
sing... enchanting yourself!
find...finding up!

With our doors always open to anyone – without any type of selection or discrimination and regardless of their previous experience in the field of music – the unique condition to participate in Sing To-Gather's encounters is just the simple desire to participate.
To just feel the need to do something together, whatever it is... for example:
- singing, clapping or making sound of an object,
making it a musical instrument, even if it doesn't have a name yet;
- suggest a letter, a new recipe;
- bring a poster, a prop or any scenic element;
- propose a movement, a dance;
- create a drawing,
- make a photo, a video, a light;
- put a thought in the circle for an open and unpretentious conversation;
- remain silent;
- observe, see, hear... feel,
- be inspired and inspired...
and most of all:
to have the desire to be together,
to open the ears, the mind,
the soul and the heart!

Possible and genuine expressions of the art and music that each one carries within her or himself...
